For those who may not know, mai means mother and lonche is pickle.
MAI's Lonche is a heartfelt tribute to Mrs. Mary D'Souza who was known for her love of cooking and nurturing her family with soul-satisfying meals. Inspired by her legacy, her daughters Janet and Lenette have come together to carry forward her tradition of creating authentic, high-quality pickles.
Our pickles are made with the finest ingredients—fresh fish or halal chicken or vegetables, natural spices, and premium olive and mustard oil—without any preservatives or artificial additives. Crafted with love in a homely kitchen setup, each jar is a celebration of the flavours and warmth that Mrs. D'Souza passed down through generations.
